Custom Plastic Fabrication of CPVC Side Pod Manifold for the Automation Industry
 

C&P Plastics recently manufactured a side pod manifold used within an exhaust/ventilation application. Using a combination of our routing, milling, and hot air welding services, we built this part based off a customer supplied print, while meeting tolerances as low as (±) .015 of an inch.

Constructed from CPVC schedule 40 pipe, the side pod manifold possessed piping dimensions ranging from Ø1.90 x 1.50 inches to Ø6.63 x 6.00 inches. It also possessed sheet dimensions of Ø6.65 x. 50 inches thick. The entire manifold weighed 4.6 pounds. After manufacturing was complete, we then inspected the part – using a combination of height gauge and calipers – to ensure the manifold met our client's precise product requirements. Once assured that the side pod manifold was properly built to print, we then delivered the finished product to our customer's facility in Austin, Texas.
